Roger’s national political clients have included serving as a campaign manager, senior strategist, or the principal direct mail consultant to Clinton/Gore ‘92, the Democratic National Committee’s Coordinated Campaign Direct Mail Consortium from 1996 through 2000, Emily’s List “Women’s Vote Project,” the NAACP, as well as to numerous US Senate, gubernatorial, congressional, and state legislative campaigns across the country.

Roger has directed over 50 major campaigns—winning over 90 percent. In addition, he has served as the direct mail and targeting consultant for over 100 state assembly/ house and state senate races nationwide. Beginning with the first successful half-cent sales tax increase within California after the passage of Proposition 13, to reduce traffic congestion, Roger has managed countless ballot measures and bond elections.

Roger has also consulted for labor organizations including AFL-CIO (COPE), SEIU, UAW, and AFSCME. During the 1980s, he owned his own voter-file business where he worked with the renowned consultant Paul Tully to build and enhance state Democratic voter files across the country. Earlier in his career he held a variety of prominent political staff positions including Chief of Staff to the Mayor of San Jose, and Senior Consultant to former California Speaker Willie Brown.
