GOTV starts today

An effective Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) program doesn't start two weeks before an election; it's integral to the entire campaign. And research has shown that conventional wisdom about what gets people to the polls is often wrong.

mobilized nearly 2 million infrequent voters
In the 2000 presidential election, Roger Lee served as a senior strategist to the NAACP - NFV for a GOTV project which motivated nearly two million African-American infrequent voters to go to their polling places and vote. This unprecedented turnout was largely based on extensive research that contradicted the conventional wisdom of most campaign veterans.

identifying a pool of supporter voters
TRLG especially brings this wisdom to developing direct mail, e-mail strategies and GOTV programs that first identify and then motivate infrequent voters to go to the polls and target key Democratic groups such as women, seniors, labor members, and minority voters.
