What Is DynamiCard?

DynamiCard is a great way to increase the effectiveness of political direct mail.DynamiCards are sturdy – credit card thickness - die-cut postcard mailers. They are made with laminated plastic and have photo quality printing.

The die-cut plastic postcards can be printed with “pop-out” WalletCards™ and even “pop-out”  plastic key chain fobs that are part of the postcard. The “pop-out” cards remain firmly in-place until the recipient punches them out of the postcard or plastic mailer.

Adding a magnetic stripe to your plastic card mailer enables the card to store data by modifying the magnetism of the magnetic material on the card. The magnetic stripe, or mag-stripe, is read by swiping past a reading head or reader. The magnetic stripe is located 0.223 inches (5.66 mm) from the edge of the card, and is 0.375 inches (9.52 mm) wide. Mag-stripes come in two varieties: low and high-coercivity.

Low-coercivity mag-stripes require a lower amount of magnetic energy to record, so the mag-stripe writers are much less expensive. High-coercivity mag-stripes are harder to erase because the card writers apply more information using a more powerful magnetic field. Low-coercivity mag-stripes require a lower amount of magnetic energy to record, so the card writers are much less expensive. A magnetic card reader (what you see in retail stores and on gas pumps) can read either type of magnetic stripe.

Your pictures and images should be placed at an angle, slanted, zoomed in, or off center. Let your pictures define how voters receive your candidate. They should demonstrate leadership, compassion and be friendly in appearance.

Using bright colors on each side
Bold and contrasting colors show depth and get attention. Highlight the your message or a “message box” in a different color. Make it stand out.

Keeping the text easy to see
Make the central message the first thing they see. Never block or overlap the pictures or graphics with any text.
